چکیده

Recent results on charm fragmentation and hadron spectroscopy in e/ep collisions at HERA with the ZEUS and H1 detectors are presented. The measured fragmentation ratios and fragmentation fractions are in agreement with those measured in ee, thus supporting the assumption of universality. Measurements of the inclusive photoproduction of the neutral mesons η, ρ, f0(980) and f2(1270) are also presented. At the same time results on production of pentaquarks are shown. Cross sections of observed states and upper limits on the production cross section of unobserved states are extracted in order to enable comparison between experiments.

Particle Production at Hera ∗

Particle production has been studied in ep collisions with the H1 and ZEUS detectors at HERA. Charged particle spectra were measured in deep inelastic scattering. Predictions from Monte Carlo generators with different models of parton evolution were compared to the data. The production of the neutral strange hadrons K S and Λ 0 was measured and was used to test various fragmentation models. Nex...

Charm fragmentation and excited charm and charm-strange mesons at ZEUS

Charm hadrons were produced copiously in ep collisions with a centre-of-mass energy of 318GeV at HERA providing a means to study charm hadronisation. During first phase of the HERA operation (1992-2000), the ZEUS collaboration accumulated data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of ∼ 120 pb. Measurements of the D, D, D and Λc production a with the HERA I data were used to determine...

Signatures of Flux Tube Fragmentation and Strangeness Correlations in pp Collisions

In the fragmentation of a color flux tube in high-energy pp collisions or e-e annihilations, the production of q-q̄ pairs along a color flux tube precedes the fragmentation of the tube. The local conservation laws in the production of these q-q̄ pairs will lead to the correlations of adjacently produced hadrons. As a consequence, the fragmentation of a flux tube will yield a many-hadron correlati...

Hadron-hadron collisions at high energies are investigated in the Ultrarelativistic-Quantum-Molecular-Dynamics approach. This microscopic transport model describes the phenomenology of hadronic interactions at low and intermediate energies ( √ s < 5 GeV) in terms of interactions between known hadrons and their resonances. At higher energies, √ s > 5 GeV, the excitation of color strings and thei...

Dihadron fragmentation: in vacuum and in matter

Two particle correlations within a single jet produced in deeply inelastic scattering (DIS) off a large nucleus as well as in heavy-ion collisions are explored. This is performed within the framework of the medium modified dihadron fragmentation functions. The modification occurs due to gluon bremsstrahlung induced by multiple scattering. The modified fragmentation functions for dihadrons are f...
